The Institue of Ecolonomics (IOE) is a non-profit entity whose mission is to demonstrate that creating a symbiotic relationship between a strong economy and a healthy ecology is the only formula for a sustainable future.

Our Purpose

IOE is a leading environmental and economic applied research and deployment organization which places a values-based and balanced emphasis on economic and environmental concerns.

IOE’s philosophy incorporates a “both and” rather than an “either or” approach to the complex environmental and economic issues facing the world today.

We research, educate, evaluate and coordinate the development and deployment of sound balanced environmental policies. Individuals, governments, business and other organizations benefit from what we offer: real-world economical environmentally friendly solutions.

Board of Directors

Scott Fardulis – CEO & Chairman, Institute of Ecolonomics

Mr. Fardulis was a previous IOE Board member for many years and has come back aboard to lead the organization and direct its activities. His effectiveness in leadership has been recognized in prominent affiliations with Our Children International, Monarch Youth Homes and the Institute of Ecolonomics. With a gift for assembling cohesive teams, empowering and equipping all ranks of leaders, Mr. Fardulis has been instrumental in building and growing sustainable organizations.

Linda Gray – Actress, Director and UN Ambassador

Linda Gray is an award winning actress, an accomplished director, a United Nations Ambassador and one of the world’s most recognized and admired stars. Her award winning portrayal of ‘Sue Ellen’, in the TV series “Dallas”, brought her international fame and critical acclaim earning her an Emmy nomination for Best Actress; Germany’s Bambi Award; Italy’s II Gato for Best Actress on Television and was voted ‘Woman of the Year’ by the Hollywood Radio & Television Society.

Gerry Weaver – Co-Founder, Institute of Ecolonomics

Gerry, widow of Dennis Weaver, remains an active Board member, working from her famous “Earthship” home in Ridgeway, CO. In 1983, Gerry and Dennis co-founded Love Is Feeding Everyone (L.I.F.E.). Once providing supplemental food to 400 people each week, L.I.F.E. supported 200 agencies who collectively fed 180,000 hungry people a week in Los Angeles County. Her work with L.I.F.E. earned she and Dennis the 1986 Presidential End Hunger Award from Ronald Reagan.

Dr. Wayne Dorband – CEO & President, Mountain Sky Group

Dr. Dorband has a 30-plus year career as an environmental entrepreneur. He was a pioneer in environmental consulting, founded ATC Environmental and took it public in the mid 1980’s. He is also a co-founder of Cherokee Investment and International Risk Group, two of the largest acquirers and redevelopers of environmentally impaired real estate in the world. Most recently he has founded Mountain Sky Group, a Northern Colorado-based green real estate and technology group of companies.

Stuart Lichter – CEO & President, Industrial Realty Group

Mr. Lichter and his companies are one of the largest owners of previously distressed industrial properties throughout the United States. They have purchased, planned and redeveloped these properties into successful mixed uses. Mr. Lichter has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions for his lifelong career in environmental and sustainable land restoration and revitalization. He is proud to be a new IOE Board Member and will be a significant contributor to future IOE direction.
